mk1b engine and gearbox

wanting engine and gearbox in good working order, must have good compression, no 5th gear pop out, good service history, decent mileage, let me know what youve got?

I have one, the car is a very late mk1 not registered till January 1990 and has covered 100k miles the car belonged to a member on here which he had owned for 18 years but it was involved in an accident, the engine is really sweet but can't test the gearbox as its not road worthy but he told me it was fine before his accident so I have no reason to doubt him as this car was on the road up till then.

Pm me if your are interested, the engine is still in the car and can be seen/heard running.
