Hi All, I just purchsed my 1st MK1, I've had 2 MK2's, I believe my car was imported from the Uk to Ireland and It still has amr2mk1club sticker on the boot! Its an 87 white t-bar.

Hello. I have just bought my car from Ireland. And it was from Kerry too (my plate started with 89 KE).

We have a thriving Irish section so welcome to the club and enjoy the car. It looks like a good one from the photos.

@Kateg28, KE would be "Kildare" Is that the car you bought in your profile(wine one), I presume its a super charger?

Oh, I assumed it stood for Kerry as I picked it up from about 5 miles from Kerry airport.

Yes, it is the one in the profile, wine coloured although officially called Mica Red Pearl. Looks stunning in the flesh, photos do not do it justice. And yes, a supercharger.

Anyway, hope you enjoy the car and the club. Both are fabulous.
