Hi all thought I would introduce myself with a couple of pictures of my car

Had a couple of small issues, firstly it turned out the bolts had fallen off of the quickshift which made it difficult to get reverse lol. Then the manifold to exhaust nuts fell off and finally the front number plate made a bid for freedom mid overtake.

However all good now :)

Thanks for the warm welcome everybody and hullo to mister charged. :)

I am always up for a meet, the only one I have gone to so far was the Cambridge meet from mr2oc.co.uk. Perhaps if there are more local people we could combine with theirs which is the last sunday of every month? Just an idea to get the numbers up.

This is my 1st mk1 but I did own a mk2 for a couple of years which I shamelessly whore out pictures of:

I bought this mk1 as a daily because my other car is off the road having a an engine / gearbox conversion and full re-wiring

its a 1987 Ginetta G28 and which is essentially a galvanised, spaceframed, capri. Originally with a 2.8 carbed capri lump and now with 2,400ccs of turbocharged nissan :) Once I get this going and sorted properly then I can start spending on my little AW11, initial plans are polybushes and some 15s for a better tyre choice.

The G28 is designation of my rank within the Centaurus Squadron currently patrolling Sector B2589-03 of the Alpha quadrant against alien incursion.














Ok, that may be utter rubbish.
The g comes from my surname initial and the 28 is the day of my birthday. Not very interesting really.
