New Mk1 owner

Hi,
I pick up my Mk1a later this week so thought i'd sign up and say hello. I'm already a MK2 owner ( early rev1) so know quite a few people from other forums,(IMOC, MR2OC) and attend most of the Jap shows/Drift events throughout the year.... looking forward to taking this new car to japfest this year....tickets booked already!! (cheaper!)

Nice looking car, is it a mk1a? The reg plate age suggests 1a but the bumpers and side skirts are mk1b...

If you don't mind me commenting, the front number plate location looks a bit fragile, it is possible to mount square front number plates just below the front bumper and still pass the MOT, and it really tidied up the front.

Yes you are correct, the bumpers and skirts are mk1 b .....the previous owners thought they looked better?? It also has 2 fibre glass wings which need repainting.(runs and peel!) the plate will be moved when I get 2 secs, probably too bottom right of the bumper,as I've seen others..I'm in Salisbury btw..
