This is an E Reg unmolested Mk1 MR2. As far as i can see, it has not been resprayed. It still has it's original rear arches (they have been treated with rust preventor, and need respraying now). It's last 2 owners have both been Rolls Royce engineers!!. It has done 130,000 miles (thats less than 6,000 miles a year). It has a new exhaust ( cost new £150), and front bumper bar is perfect (cost new £150).
It starts perfectly every time, no smoke, or nasty rattles. The gearbox has been fitted with a replacement 5th gear (by the last Rolls Royce man himself), so no probems there. His sone went over a sleeping policeman and knocked off the drivers side anti roll bar bracket, so that needs relacing for MOT. There is also some rot behind the rear wheels (where they always go). Interior is perfect in black cloth. This is a sunroof model, so no problems with water leaks, and a wet bum when you get in after a shower of rain!!
Original wheels, steering wheel, ash tray good etc etc. This one is a very rare one for someone looking for a nice one they can do a little bit to and keep, or just keep it for the summer and sell it on and make a bit of money.
This car has lots of perfect parts...bumper bar, exhaust, engine and box, ash tray etc etc, and is worth more in parts than whole, but i want to see these cars on the road, so i want someone in the club to buy it and give it the bit of TLC it needs. MOT has expired, so will need to be trailered away, but i can deliver for a small fee.
I have a few other MR2s here (20 in total,) so i have any parts need to get this back to it's former glory.
Priced at £895.................. REDUCED TO £699

It is far better to spend a bit more buying a better original can, and something that has been filled and god knows what in the past.
Cheers, Neil
