Walking home from work and confronted by a mk1a in a neighbours drive which made me do a comedy double take. Looked excellent condition so took a photo. Never spoken to this neighbour before as opportunity never arisen but decided to knock on the door. The guy answered with the words "I wondered when you would pop over".
Had a good chat and he seemed very nice. I commented on the excellent condition and he said it wasn't perfect but when we looked over it, it was really quite good with very minor issues. The arches are immaculate. It has had a respray and some of the pinstripes are missing but really not bad at all. I know the price he paid and I think he got a bargain considering condition.
I took a photo on iPhone and will ask my teenager how to upload it.
The guy is keeping it for Summer and likely to sell it so I will advise if that happens.
