Selling my mr2 :(
She's a 1989 toyota mk1b mr2 in red. Just 93000 miles on the clock backed up by the mots.
The interior is in fantastic condition seats look new aged fantastically well.
The rest of the car is in very good condition for it's age. One large dent beneath the fuel filler cap which I'd imagine would be easily removed by one of these dent removal companies and a dent in the front wing.
Have very recently had the cam belt and alternator belt replaced as well as a full oil and filter service. This car really does run lovely and is a total joy to drive. Had a new clutch a month ago,
Electric windows on both sides work perfectly as does the retractable ariel. No leaks around the sun roof which for about 20 years was never removed as the previous owner didn't know it came out. She's had only 2 previous owners one of which brought her in 1991 and was a 70 year old retired police man. It's an original car that hasn't been messed with (except the black and red gaitor and gear knob).
It's getting rare to find these cars in such good original condition, 90% seem to be eaten away with rust and the paint more pink than red.
With a little work and I mean only a little work this car could be a fantastic A1 example. She flew through the MOT (18th March 2013 taxed until the end of July 2012. Original Radio/cassette.
This is an extremely reluctant sale.
