This is one of our most popular items that we sell which is the '3 Stripe Decal Kit' which includes all of the triple stripe decals fitted to the MR2 Mk1b (87-90). This also includes the EAGLE decal for the rear bumper, single spoiler stripe and extra triple stripe material that can be used on the side mouldings on the wing/door/wing if required.

Hi, this item is a NEW 3 coachline stripe decal kit made to a very high standard, including the Eagle decal and spoiler stripe. All stripe ends are finished exactly as they should be and all stripe decals are the correct length ready to be put onto the car. Near identical to the original Toyota items, 10 3 Stripe decals and 1 Eagle decal.

It is to be used on the 1987-1990 Toyota MR2 Mk1b's. Kit currently available for Super White (dark silver/charcoal metalic stripes), Sky Blue (dark silver/charcoal metalic stripes), Mica Blue (light silver metalic stripes), and Super Red (light silver metalic stripes) colour cars. Cost aprox £150 from Toyota for a set without the eagle, no longer available.




**Included free of charge are an extra 6 decals, 17 decals in total in the kit, to go over the door and wing moldings, handy if the original items have been painted over. Moulding are also £150 each from Toyota, if still available. The moulding stickers will require cutting to fit, if required. Excelent value for money to give your MR2 that original factory look.**

Stipes are sold as a kit, not individualy I'm afraid. On the back bumper there are two stripes and an eagle. When avaialble from Toyota these alone cost aproximatly £40 if I remember correctly. As you can see the kit offers excellent value when compared to the original Toyota items, at only £59 for all the triple stripes + more.

^ Now i am no business professional, no do i have a track record in business, nor any qualifications in business, but i reckon you could make a bucket load more making the individual stickers. Imagine if just the eagle had peeled off or what, Who is going to pay £59 for one singular eagle....Just to note, if anybody has a super red mk1 and needs front stickers i would be willing to go "halfsies" so i can have a re-stickered rear end.

I got the front TOYOTA and rear TOYOTA MR2 decals off e bay for mine bought the sheet that also had the SUPERCHARGER decal that i did not need.

Yes I could potentialy make a lot more selling them individualy, I did for a period. Unfortuantly I will be very busy ofer the next 10 months and will not be able allocate so much time to business activites. Just processing the orders via the website, I will probably not be on the forum very much if at all after this weekend (although I will endevor to still answer all PM's in time).

I could sell just the rear bumper eagles only upon request. £6 + postage. That said I am rearly asked for just this decal.

Just a heads up on this before I go: this decal should be a metallic finish and also be in two different colours i.e. the boarder a different colour to the main lettering colour. The decals from this supplier are not, just a single colour non metallic decal. Which is a pity? As mentioned these were still available from Toyota earlier this year when I required them for one of the MR2’s I was restoring.

Sorry Daf..I was not trying to sideswipe your business. In fact, i didnt realise i had posted it in your thread until afterwards. I searched for sticker as i remember someone asking then blindly posted to try to help.

You are absolutely right....there are NOT OEM style or quality like yours and are a cheap alternative (You get what you pay for) but i thought it may help someone if they are stuck.

Personally, i think your kit is a great asset to the restoration world and a good price.

Maybe an option would be a 'mini group buy' for those that just want one or two minor repair bits....they can club together and share it if the total cost is not warranted by a tiny repair.

Just to re-iterate...i think yours are better quality and in my opinion, pretty good value...but as an alternative, the cheap one may help someone.

Agreed, yours look like quality items. I'm in need of both rear stripes but I am slightly put off by having to get a whole set. I'm sure there are afew in the same boat.

Hi guys, thanks for the comments! It's been several years since I was last on the site but saw a recent post in my Junk emails folder :)

So I stopped selling these officially many years ago, but I have had a look what I have of the old stock and I still have x2 kits for the red and mica blue cars, and x2 kits for the white ans sky blue cars left - plus a few extras.

There were excellent quality kits and an asset to myself restoring so many Mk1's and many other owners across the globe.

If the club wants to make a bulk order than I can run this past my own supplier if you like? Could probably do it for an order of x10 min, with cost naturally reducing if more are ordered. No harm in asking them :)

Right, I have had a lot of interest in getting a new batch of decal kits made but only x4 kits have actually been paid for - I need at least 8-10 pre-orders to get these made for you or it's going to leave me in a hole financially. I can't do that.

Wanted to give my supplier the thumbs up or thumbs down this week, I can give it until the end of next week I guess.

As I have said these are made from expensive high quality Ultra Metallic material to replicate the colours of the original - not the cheap as chips nonsense being offered by some. Fitted to mady a show wining Mk1 MR2.

Details are as per the threads original post with a link to photos etc. These are the 3 Stripe Kits I developed myself several years ago when I ran a business restoring Mk1's to A1 condition called Superb Classics and are of excellent quality. I sold many of these kits to the community in the UK and worldwide and they proved very popular.

Had a number of people contacting me out of the blue recently and as a result I am in discussions with my old supplier to get a new batch made in the coming weeks - If I can secure enough orders.

If you would like to consider ordering a batch to help support your members and also help raise some funds towards the running of the club then let me know. I might be able to secure a discount with larger numbers for you :)

These are for the x4 UK Mk1B colour cars. (Customer colours available, I once did a metallic gold batch of x10 for the Super Edition)
