This is a really nice car, I saw it in 2007 at the first world record attempt at Rockingham, shame about the blue interior but even I am quite tempted by this :-)

It looks like the owner tried to sell it on here in 2010 without success, strange really as it is a very nice car.

I have tried to contact the seller of this car but have had no response. I know they work off shore but I know even when Jimi is away he is still contactable, anyone know the seller?

I didn't even get a chance to view it Stu, no response to emails or phone calls until this morning when I eventually got in contact with someone who told me it had sold. I have no idea who bought it though :-(

No idea what it is like underneath but this Eurosport kitted car has been for sale for some time Tommy. Its cheap....but there could be a reason for that. Just passed an MOT with no advisories though. Not sure if you can get to the arches under those kits to check them out though.

I had noticed that one Chrys, but it doesn't have the Eurosport spoiler fitted and I don't think red is the best colour for the kit. I think the sills are covered by the kit so you would not be able to check them, although assuming the new MOT is legitimate then you would think there should be no major structural rust.
I also can't understand why people put rubbish pictures up on adverts, surely with even basic mobiles taking half decent pictures they can do better than that :-)

I may be able to help with another solution for another problem Tommy....I am getting some original MK1 roof bars very soon and am going to look at a local manufacturer potentially making a similar set to sell on to club members.
It may not help your 'something different' search but it may help with your practicality concerns.

They always seem to sell well on Ebay Chrys, although that is possibly because they are so rare. If they are readily available then they may not sell as well?
I have just enough room with my boot rack to take a tent and all the necessary equipment for a weekend camping. I have no room for food or drink so have to get them on arrival which at Silverstone and Tatton is actually very easy. At Tatton it is great as you can have a look in the McClaren showroom when you go into Knutsford :-)

Yes, i agree. It would deffinitely be a very limited market but i was thinking of looking into it more from a 'helping others out' that making a profit perspective. If it looks reasonable enough as an exercise, i may do it and see what interest it gets.
Hopefully i will get along to one of these shows next year...who knows...maybe even in a MR2 ;-)

If you fancy a great show Chrys then put the dates 25th-27th July 2014 in your diary. This is the Silverstone Classic and is the best car show in my opinion, great racing, loads of cars and great facilities :-)

This one Tommy, http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/toyota/mr2/toyota-mr2-mk1-supercharger-4agze-uk-car-conversion-unique-and-special-spec/1638260
It's my mate's mk1a conversion - was epically quick, but he bought it for £2500 and it's the same as it was when he bought it so don't know where the extra value has come from.

I had seen that one Alex but it is not a Eurosport kit as the tread suggests. I do like the conversion but it is a bit much for a converted car don't you think?
