On eBay again but lower price.

Does look a good price but how bad is an auto? I would guess supercharger more fun, auto less fun so on balance ok?

It's only a fiver cheaper isn't it, I suppose the box could be changed, but it will also need money chucked at it to sort the wheels and rust, which could prove to be quite costly

The car in question is just down the road from me. While obviously I'm no qualified mechanic, I've been around Mk1s for a few years now and happy to have a look for any potential buyers. I've never driven an auto Mk1 but I'm lead to believe that the gearbox is good, for an automatic. Not sure exactly what that means, though! :lol:

if this was nearer to me then i'd be really tempted to go get it :)
i really miss my old mk1 :(
so am hunting for another one poss long term project - got a space in my garage that needs filling and want summat decent to look at when i'm in there........ scoobs are all well and good but nothing drives quite as well as a properly sorted m1 :)
