Castle Combe - bank holiday Monday 5th May

Next round of the mr2 mk1 championship is at Castle Combe on Monday the 5th.

This track is excellent to spectate at, as the cars carry a lot of speed ( last time I was there even mx-5 we're doing 4 wheel drifts round some of the corners) and there is good high banking to let you see a lot.

I will be there in my mk1 so let me know if you are thinking of going too.

If I can get the time off I might make the trip down to see it. It's actually my old local track as I grew up in Bath. Quarry is the best corner to watch from, someone always stacks it there!

I saw your two tone Mk1 at Rockingham in the the car park. We should have been more organised and said hello. I was only there until 4ish though as I had the family in tow so missed the second race!

Great sunshine and two pairs of races with mk1's. Half way through and some real tail happy cars.

600hp Astra and other local series wacky racers a bonus. My favourite rover tomcat that torque steers it's way round the whole track, you can actually see it jump sideways.
