quite a rare item i should imagine and perfect for a supercharger auto conversion or NA upgrade

Did see this and was interested but then read it has crunch in second gear. And the E51 gearboxes are not as simple to rebuild.

The supercharger was only available as a mk1b. Not sure but you may be referring to the other gearbox thread that someone else started?

the box they are selling looks like an mk1A the mk1B has the mickey mouse ears

I have no idea.....I'm just going by the description. Worth asking if anyone is interested though
