If these really will fit a mk1 with no mods then they look really good.

They are not far from me but I think I would need to get my brakes to look less rusty as I guess they will be seen clearly through the spokes. The standard teardrops have some advantages.

If the "measurements" are to be believed (I have doubts since they obviously have no idea how to measure wheels, there's no PCD, Offset or Width quoted) then they won't fit a MK1 correctly, the centre bore is too small, they claim its 2" (50mm) the correct centre bore for a MK1 is 54.1mm, this size is important as the MK1 needs to have hubcentric wheels.
They claim they are the correct offset for a MK1 but have no idea how to measure it so we have no way of telling what offset they really are.
Personally, I wouldn't put 17's on a MK1, looks stupid and does nothing for the handling, 15's or at a push 16" are as big as I would go.
