mmmmmmmmmmmmh didn't read it properly, now I have I'm none the wiser what it is. I've emailed her to find out, once I get a reply I'll sort the ad and this post one way or the other. Cheers for pointing it out Andy :thumbup:

Probably a MK1b if its 1989 as listed

Been in touch with the seller, it's a white 1b, which belonged to an enthusiast. His widow would like it to go to another enthusiast rather than be scrapped. No MOT and on SORN but was running OK until it was stripped pending at respray. Could be a nice project for someone, it's in north Essex near Stansted Airport.

I think she is more concerned about it going to an enthusiast who would put it back on the road rather than it being stripped for spares or scrapped than she is about the price. I think after viewing an "fair" offer from an enthusiast would be accepted.
