A bit short notice this but only found out about it today , its Saturday 16 may (TOMORROW ) at MANOR PARK, GLOSSOP, DERBYSHIRE, SK13 7SH . no need to book as you can pay on the gate to show your car ( 3 pounds per car ) . info page http://www.glossopcarshow.moonfruit.com/ . let me know if you want to go and we can meet up . Been in Bristol at japfest castle Combe otherwise I would have gone as glossop isn't far from ours as the crow flies.

I went to the show today and was surprised at the size and quality of cars on show . Mine was the only mk1 there , it did get a lot of attention and the amount of people wanting to buy mk1s proves they are getting very sought after . i will post this show as a club event next year and sort out a club stand ( spoke to the organizer and the stand is all ready sorted )

Looks like a good meet. We are booked into Ilkeston Heritage show on 16th August. Great fun last year, Classics take over town centre and we were the only japanese car there. Check the face book page, it is free to attend.

This car did stand out it was in outstanding condition and totally original . I spoke to the owner and he had owned it from new .

My dad had a G reg 2.0GLS which I borrowed for a while whilst my Swift GTi was off the road. I remember it was really comfortable and had jelly suspension. You had to steer about a second before the corner and then eventually the car would catch up and turn! He also had a string of Mk2s when I was a kid, 1.6s and 1.8s if I remember correctly. He never had an SRi though.

Just done some research, I wouldn't mind one of these! :)
