Hi all . bill is the event organiser for this show . camping is a must if you can to appreciate this brilliant show .


ONLY 15 TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE FOR EACH DAY OF THE EVENT:

1. THE CLOSING DATE FOR TICKETS IS THE 16th APRIL by contacting me before that date either by telephone or email.

2. This is the closing date for notifying the show organisers.

3. I WILL NEED YOUR NAME, ADDRESS, CAR REGISTRATION AND PHONE NUMBER in order to register the tickets..

4. IT IS REQUIRED FOR YOUR MR2 MK1 TO BE ON THE CLUB STAND BETWEEN 8.00 AND 9.00 AM, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO REMOVE IT UNTILL 4.00PM. PLEASE LEAVE GOOD TIME TO GET IN TO THE DISPAY AREA AS THERE UP TO 2000 CARS ON DISPLAY,
THE EARLY YOU ARE THE LEAST TIME YOU WILL BE IN THE QUEUE.

Bookings can be made for one, or two days, and I also need to know if you will be camping. The charge for camping is £10.00 for any length of time. For motor homes and caravans the fee is £20.00. You can arrive after 10.00 am on Friday, and help in setting up our area would be appreciated.
You can camp from Friday noon the3rd if you like and make it a long weekend.

In previous years, places have been gone quickly and already at least 6 members have applied for this very popular event. To date, the following have booked places, and it would be helpful to have your information in the following format

What time do we need to be there ideally on satday??

OK to all with tickets, You can be on the plot 8.00am I would like members to be there as early as possible. all car are band from moving in the show from 10.00am
If you are thinking after 9.00am, You will be in a very long queue as 2000 cars will be trying to get in, If you are not in place by 10am you will not be allowed in.
and remember I have to move you all into place on the plot,
SO GET THERE EARLY.

You are correct yes, your car will be inside the showground and can be left on the stand or you can bring it back to the camp. I always used to leave mine on the stand, thus allowing a lie in in the morning :-)

Good to see everybody today - a really great atmosphere as alway. Good to catch up, have a browse, enjoy a bit of banter, while a way a day in the sun, cream tea with Bill and even time for a snooze.

Traffic was manic as I left but was pleased to report that I made it to the M6 by 16.11!!!

Thanks as always to Bill for all his great organisation and everybody who came along - what a great turn out.

Remember to get your name down for the North Pennines run and very much looking forward to Silverstone.

What a fantastic weekend again really enjoyed it . The stand looked excellent with mix of standard and modified cars on display for the public to view and we had a lot of interest ( dean and mikes cars had a lot of interest both with fantastic modified cars ) .Bill luckily was able to attend the show ( it wouldn't have been the same without him ) and singed up many new members to this great club so well done bill :clap: . I would like to say i had a fantastic time and fun with the members who camped top people and great friends . A special thanks goes out to Tommy for being the club support unit and bring the club show equipment + plus great entertainment ( priceless ) :thumbup:. Bill and i would like to thank all members who showed there cars you did the club proud :clap: . roll on Silverstone

After a mooch around the auto jumble the right tool for the job was sourced and the job completed. No wonder the guy at Halfords didn't want to attempt it!

Fantastic weekend as always. I must admit having a year off makes it better as does the sun shining. Thanks to Bill and Gary for organising as always, it was a great surprise to find Bill there on the Friday :-)
