Unusual, would have thought it would be worth enough fix

I'd assume a decent SC could get £7k+

I bought a charger specifically to break it...

It was soooo rusty was untrue. Everything was rotten on it.

That one doesn't look bad so worth an ask?

7k is a bit of a leap IMO

Here is my old one I sold just under 4K which was 4 and half years ago. So do hope they have gone up in value but not sure about 7k. I think a really outstanding condition will get 5.5k.

They have the engine up for sale which could be good if someone was looking to do a conversion

I emailed the guy and asked about selling as a whole and he's come back with 'cat b - must break it'

I might buy the engine and keep it in the garage for a rainy day then

He wants £1000 for the engine I asked that too - but don't know if that's ancillaries or just the block and head. Without the looms it's useless.

Tempting. Will have to sleep on it. Would have preferred it around the £1000 mark.

The latest s/c imports on Ebay are around the £6-7000. I could see them hitting the £10k mark in the next couple of years.
