its a long shot i know but does anyone have any MK1a spats they don't need or are willing to sell please? these are the ones in front of the rear arch on cars without side skirts.

If i manage to get hold of a set (or if any of us do) we should get a set of fiber glass copies made. I have a friend who works with carbon Fiber. If i get a good enough set, he may be able to make some.

My thoughts exactly. I know these things are rare but £200? I offered him half that and the guy said they'll sell no problem at the advertised price. Does he know Mk1 owners are a rather frugal bunch?

I was thinking of doing that but I suggested that a couple of years ago with a set I had....I had surprisingly little interest.
I still have a brand new set of mk1a front valances I want to get replicated atnsome point.
