Hi all , running this event again this year and its a blast with some of the best roads made for the mk1 .

The meeting point is Tesco at Macclesfield SK10 2AB. leaving at 10.00am so please don't be late .

there is a limit of 12 cars for this run .

My car has just spat its dummy out on the way home from work tonight due to a major water leak from the heater pipes under the car its pi**ing out . It will have to go on lift tomorrow to see what's gone wrong .

Sorry to bring bad news but im not going to make it on sunday. My oil leak has gotten worse so i will be dropping the engine out this weekend for a gasket overhaul. Hope to try and make the next one :)

o crap not a load of push bikes getting under are feet should be banned :lol: what is the route for the bikes so i can avoid it .

What a great run! Perfect weather, and the traffic was kind to us. Bit of an issue at the end with Tom's car, but a run's not a run without half a dozen people trying to fix one car!

Thank you to Bill, Gary, Andy and Anthony for assisting with the car at the end. The drive home was totally fume free, so it'll be a lot more pleasant to drive now! Worrying to think that the overflow pipes had been potentially like that since I bought the car last February, but at least it's sorted now (well, after I put some new hose clips on tomorrow). It'll be interesting to see how my fuel economy fairs too.

A stunning day; really special! Super weather and smashing roads (well, the smooth ones in my case), all topped off by great company and a super leader, Gary. :+:

I'll get the drone and action camera footage edited together; just had a quick look through and there's some impressive shots. :)

Take care all and enjoy the rest of this fantastic evening.

Thanks for every one attending today great to see you all . Enjoyed this run today very little traffic to slow are spirited pace down and even manage a bit of air time though edale :angel: . Can't wait to see the drone footage Tom that was a trick piece of kit very impressed . Glad the car sorted mate them pipes are a sod to get at with a 4age in add a v6 to the bay nearly bloody impossible , good job i've got a lot of patience :lol: . roll on next run :+:

Hehe, not quite! :) (although Lois is as equally impressed with it as I am)

Got interested in them (drones) late on last year and had a few smaller ones. Then, I just bit the bullet and took some out of my bonus in February to splurge! :) Looking forward to using it more over the summer.
