He's spent "£4000 on the bodywork" and "£1000 on the mechanicals", but it has a dent in the door and the engine "needs to be rebuilt"! ???

It's a typical Neil Jones advert - I'm sure I'll receive another message on eBay from him saying I'm slagging him off on here or something like that...

Surely you'd just omit the fact £1000 has been spent on the engine and just say it needs to be rebuilt. Gives the impression someone has tried to do it themselves, ballsed it up and now it's buggered again.

It does look nice however, but money pit more than likely.

To be fair by mechanicals he may mean steering and suspension, personally if I had the cash I'd swipe it. Do like the tin tops

It actually says 1000 sent on mechanicals (not the engine).

It doesnt say what year it is but i notice it has MK1a front valances, lip and bumper but mk1b side vent. It has side skirts but i thought the crossovers had the mk1a side grill?

Is it a original tin top there is something missing on this car anyone spotted it .Its also a 1A going of the centre counsel and steering wheel .

Being an import, would the aerial be on the other side, behind the spoiler so it's not visible?

I am sure this car was up for sale a few months ago - can't remember where or when but it look familiar

Im pretty sure the crossovers were a mk1b body and trim with an odd engine.
