hello, my name is jorma and i wont to buy mr2 mk1a in spain, and I have question...

the mr2 mk1 year 85 have canvas top and i have a question about this, because i haven't found in the net a photograpy of mr2 mk1 for canvas top, is this unit special or rare? i am confused.

Can.you send a picture of the car you are talking about please.

There was a handful (14 I think) convertible mr2s made in the USA but they were later than 1985 cars.
Perhaps you have seen a local conversion or perhaps I am misunderstanding what you mean by a canvas top.

Looks very similar to the X1-9 Targa top, definitely a custom job, probably a sunroof converted. Mr T never produced any 1a's like that.
Very nice, always wondered what a MK1 would look like with a targa top. It's one of the things I loved about my X1-9
