Cigarette lighter and socket (a very clean one !)

I am on the lookout for a mint used Cigarette lighter and socket as mine is tatty and the socket is rusty.

I want to use phone charger and my wideband etc, which all require plugging into the socket and its rusty and showing 11.7 Volts... I think this is partly down to the rust in the socket.

So if any one has a lighter and socket in vgc or can recommend where to get one then it would be most appreciated

Why not replace it with a dedicated charger? I did mine a couple of years ago but you can get dual chargers nowadays.

Well the devices I want to use have a cigarette plug on them. Great idea though what you have done!

You can just buy them from Halfords unless you specifically want an OEM one.

Thanks for the tip. I want an OEM one if possible. I will try a breakers maybe, but most of them are rather tired nowadays, so I may have to settle for a Halfords one and check it fits OK - not too long etc.

Martin 42006 = do you happen to have the lighter itself unused ? Would be nice to have a lighter plug unused and also a Mint condition flap / cover as mine has been used quite alot at one time - prob in the 90's ! - Everyone I knew smoked then !

Yes i do have one somewhere i will have a look when i get back from work. The flap is intact but not in great condition.

£10 for the socket and lighter to cover postage.
