4AGE 20V Head plus small port throttle body

Hi,

I've got a 4AGE 20V head and a small port throttle body if anyone is interested.

Strictly collection only, PR4 1XY

Been sat on a shelf for 10 years and I'll never end up using it.

What is the difference between the small port TB and bigport?

The small port came off the Corolla I think, and the smaller ports are more tuneable if you're aiming for high revving hp..
Or at least that's what I read...

I've got a smallport cylinder head coming my way, that is more tunable, not heard of the TB as the inlet manifold is also different, which I cannot source as of yet.

What is the difference between the small port TB and bigport?

The inlet ports are smaller as it do's not have tvis also the injector rail has different spacing's for the injectors, that are green ones. its the pistons that are high compression also there is an oil drain in the corner that drains the oil down the outside and into the block
to stop the head getting full of oil.

I sold a small port engine to Dean Mitchell ( Bigboyzjunk) with an adaptor plate that lets you use the tvis manifold, I don't no if he used it, I paid £80 for it from the USA.

I know, that's the one I should have in a few days c/w adaptor.

However, I was hoping to get a hold of an AE92 inlet manifold too.

There is no difference between the two throttle bodies, it's just the head, inlet and fuel rails that are different.

I'm building an engine utilising the later head, later fuel rail, hopefully inlet manifold, smallport pistons and 20v exhaust manifold :) oh and some 235 civic or prelude injectors ;)

If the seller has a 20 valve engine with small port throttle bodies it is probable a silver top 20v which had smaller diameter orts and smaller throttle bodies than the 20vlve blacktop which I think had 48mm throttle bodies. If its the head only you would need the ecu and loom as well as 20v pistons with fly cuts to build into a full engine.
