New, and with an issue! My break caliper fell off

:shifty: Hello my background is in the classic mini world but myself and retired granddad have recently put an 89 mr2 mk1 back on the road with new sills, break re furb, disks and general body work and respray

But my issue is the passenger side lower break caliper mounting bolt worked loose and came off

im living away from home and dont have the workshop pile of nuts and bolts to dive into, just a basic socket tool kit and the complete factory car tools :D

what thread is the lower front caliper mounting bolt.. so i can order a replacement.. i guess its metric for a start would a panic bolt set from halfrouds do it

Hi there,

Welcome to the forums.

You should still be able to order this bolt directly from Toyota. :+: I wouldn't use generic bolts for something as important as the braking system. Give your local branch a call and they should be able to assist you.
