I am after making an adapter so that when I fit my emanage ECU it will be plug and play and I can do all the wiring in the warmth of my house !
It also means that the original wiring will not be butchered - which is important for long term reliability I think.
In order to make the loom adapter I need the 3 ECU male plugs from a wiring loom with about 6 inches (15cm) of original wire attached and the sockets from a dead ecu Mk1 (any UK version)
I say Dead ECU because it would be a shame to damage a working one - but it may be my only choice
Once I have finished the Greddy install, I will be in a position to remap my MR2 and if its successful I will gladly pass on the info I have learned to others in the club. There is alot of misinformation out there about fitting aftermarket ECU's or signal modifiers, low impedance injectors and high impedance injectors.
Thanks
Jonathan
