Awesome run today despite the miserable weather.
Got some photos and running through the dashcam footage but it looks to have overwritten most of the morning :(

Good to see everyone today. A good day despite the weather - we have never had the roads so quiet on a Lake District run!
I hope everyone made it home OK.
Great to see Bill Hulme this morning as well.

Fantastic day, thank you.
One of the slowest runs I have been on, but still one of the most exciting. Driving through the flooded roads was spectacular. Hopefully someone got some pictures.

Yes it was good to have Bill waving us off!
At least there weren't many cyclists out today!
It was a great run. Shame I drowned my engine during the first river crossing, but I got the hang of it after that.
Some of the scenery was incredible, especially the raging river/waterfall.

As well as all of the car pics, I think it should be compulsory for a group shot of the attendees to be taken. It's just as interesting.
Looked like you all had a great day.

Woops made a hash of that, if anybody knows how to get rid of the first post which has the flood picture instead of the new recruit on the quadbike, please sort it out. Never mind on we go ...
Now we should have the pictures of the waterfall / armageddon

Is that the bow rails of a cruise liner I see ?
4073
White water rafting anyone ?

And as requested here is our brave band of intrepid explorers who bravely took there Mark 1s where nobody has taken them before (well not through that much water anyway)

A great time was had by all. Many thanks to Graham for his amazing knowledge of all the brilliant drivers roads and his bravery in driving straight through all the flooded roads thereby checking the depth for all those following !!
Cheers
John.

Right, Tom has sorted a bit of a mistake I made when I posted this series of pictures but now some I intended being there have vanished so here they are again !
The run off from the hills was creating very wet roads as these pictures show.

Great run, thanks Graham. What was wrong with the weather? It was a great opportunity for Mike to test the Mk1 Toyboata Mid-SHIP runabout!
