I'll make sure I've got the drone packed, as I remember there are some pretty spectacular stop offs. :)
We might also tie it into an overnight stay in Liverpool.

There should be some good photo opportunities, weather permitting.
If you do stop over let me know

The V6, so long as I can get the windscreen replaced in time. A fairly decent crack appeared the other day. :(
Looking forward to hopefully filling the valleys with some V6 noise! :)

Hi all, unfortunately work and life has been too busy to get the windscreen sorted on the V6, so I won't be able to make the run on Sunday. Absolutely gutted, especially with the good forecast!
I'll see those of you that are going to Tatton in a few weeks though! :)
Have a fantastic day out!!

A mk3 roadster i paid £210 for it the car found me so couldn't turn it down at this price . I love this car the handling is sublime ( just 4 line laser tracked it ) and very quick its so much like a mk1 but more refined, the only down side no pop up head lights and limited storage space .

Big Thanks to Bill for leading the way and taking us on some great roads!
On the way back I missed the exit for the services due to traffic! Hope you didn't think I was rude for not saying bye !

Thanks to all who made it sorry to those who couldn't. The weather was kind to us and the traffic could have been worse.
Glad you liked the new route. It was Mike that led the new bits, I got the other bits, as usual :)
We intend to try to tweak the route a bit more for next time and will be doing a recce a bit later in the year, if anyone would like to tag along? I'll keep you informed.
Tatton next let's hope the weather gods shine on us again.

Thanks Jonathan, will do. It might be a lot of 'to and fro' checking ice cream and 'comfort break' stops with some driving in between

Hi , Great run out lads loved it many thanks bill for organizing a top run , This was my first proper drive in anger in the mk3 and it performed very well and kept up with the mk1 far easier than the mk2 would but with the years of development between the mk1 and mk3 you would think the mk3 would hammer the mk1 but it doesn't at all the mk1 fitted with coil overs was far superior and i couldn't keep up with it . After owning all 3 models now i would say the mk1 is still king of all the generations they got it right first time .

Thats really good to know! Toyota, Mitsubishi, Nissan and Honda made great cars filled with soul and excitement in the 80's and 90's but they all lost their way a bit from 2000 onwards. I think safety, size and weight have a lot to do with it.
