Ouch. I can't believe it's even worth £1,500, especially when they say "It looks better in the pics than real life". Well it looks pretty bad in the pics!!

Not for the faint hearted, but hope some one will take it on as a project

If it's worth £1500 then I need to insure mine for more!
The worrying statement is... "The anti roll bar bush came lose"
I wonder if that means the front chassis rails have rotted and the mounts have pulled out.
I'm sure Martin needs another car.

Funnily enough on reading the ad my thought process was the same as yours  .... except for Martin if it was £15 then yes, possibly even at £150 but £1500 :o

You know me too well. :D i certainly wouldnt turn it down at £150 but am not that desperate for another project that i would spend 1.5k
I suspect its more likely that the bracket has rusted through and the bar is loose but it is also possible the mount has pulled out

I suspect the same, also needs both rear arches, looks like the drivers side sill has gone (probably the other side as well) bottom of both the front wings looks suspect I'd guess the front bumper bar is shot. No picture of the rear valance, but certainly the rear corners have gone. Basically all the standard MK1 rot spots need done, unfortunately no reason to think the underneath is much different.
I think he's a bit optimistic with the price.
