Finally! A real dedicated MK1 club!
Xhermes is my board name and I'm from the Netherlands. I'm also busy with a company called Infinity Performance with a friend of mine. Specialised in MR2's ofcourse ;)
I drive a black MK1 t-top from 1988.
Fitted with Koni's, tein camberplates, free flowing custom Simons exhaust and some other things.
Here's a few pics and vids :

Weird... You can find them on http://picasaweb.google.com/koks.harm/Wales/
Its the black MK1 ;)
What else have I done...
Uhm Toyo T1R tires, SC rear lights, Apexi RSM, Nardi Torino, Trust shiftknob.
Ferodo DS2500 brakes on refurbed calipers on front. Porterfield R4S brakes on the back. The fronts are getting swapped for ST185 brakes. 277 mm discs with Ferodo DS2500 pads. I also have Goodridge brake lines.
The car is in pieces atm waiting for new bushings, springs ( its on Apex front and Jamex rear ). Going for RS*R's . Also a new tranny is going in. I've also got one Recaro SR to go in.
I've also got a set of Autovation pedals lying around.
Plans for the future are. Flares with 15x8+0 wheels ( if anyone know some light/cheapish wheels in these sizes ) and later a 4AGE 20v.

Hiya
Thats a good looking MK1 you have there.
Seeing yours reminded me of a red one that we saw in Sluis, Netherlands a few months back - my other half is from the West-Vlaanderen (sp) area of Belgium so sometimes our MK1's are over there - other times they are here in England.
This is a pic of the red one and our T-Bar that i took:

You guys should come to Karfreitag am Ring the 10th of April. A BIG gathering of enthousiasts at the ring. The Dutch, German and Belgium MR2 club are coming...
The Red T-top doesnt look familiar though :(

Did some work on it yesterday. Removed as much of the suspension on the left front. Only thing left are the endlinks ( didnt bring my allen keys ) and the control arm bolt is spinning free.....
Also received my ST185 Celica brakes and discs :)
Thanks for the kind works. The car has to be ready for the Wales run in August. Any one coming?

Well back to the living! The MK1 has been down for almost an entire year but its got an MOT and insurance so it should be ready to go!
The old exhaust had some big holes in there so I downgraded to an OEM exhaust. Still want something different but this will do for now. I found some new wheels ( same design as the old one but a slightly different ET )
All I need to do now is fill/flush the cooling system and its good to go!
