Toyota MR2 Mk1 T bar in Red

One's in this condition with sensible mileage are not easy to find. It has just come as number 100 in the best drivers cars of all time, in the recent edition of EVO magazine. High praise indeed with the company it’s keeping! It’s also just been named as 'classic car' in practical Classic magazine. It’ll soon be worth significantly more that you’ll be able to pick it up for now!
This car has been very well maintained from new, with a full service history up to the last stamp. It’s had the windscreen top rails sorted, which do go on Mk1's T-bars, it’s never been crashed and has the original bumper decals, which are seldom replaced on repaired cars.
Everything works as it should, lights, windows, wipers, radio, etc. As you would expect. It’s also been fitted with a Magnetec Stainless Steel exhaust, a few more BHP and a nice noise. (This is no nosier than the standard one)
The interior is in good condition with leather seats and door cards, the original stereo (which is great), there is some wear on the drivers seat, which is to be expected, but overall, the interior is above average for the age of car i would say.
The body work is again in good condition. as you know, these cars do rust in certain areas (around the rear wheel arches, front valance, front winds, top rail), don’t let anyone telly you any different. There is some rust on this one, around the bottom or the rear wheel arches, and it's not that bad. The main rear arches are OK with a small bit of surface rust, as do the front wings on the under side of the arch, there is a small dent in the rear wing and an even small ding in the drivers (i suspect a heavy handed car park dent). there are also some stone chips and some light scratches in other places. the car is 21 years old and for it's age holds up well.
I’m just trying to be honest about it... i don't want someone thinking they getting a concourse car. it drives very well, EVO magazine described it as a little Ferrari 450.
we've been driving this car daily for the last few months and are selling due to a new baby. it's 100% reliable and in above average condition for a car of this age. :)
offers around £1,500
