I am putting my 1990 T bar up for sale.It is a light metalic blue with black leather interior. In 2004 the car was stripped back to the shell resprayed and rebuilt. The car is back to as close as possible the way it was when it left the factory.I have owned it the last 7 years,it has done 86000 miles and drives great. It has an excellent service history with many receipts and last 14 mot certificates. There has been 5 previous owners and I have just put 6 months tax on it and I am about to mot it for another year.i am only selling it because i now have kids and dont get to use it,I have only done 2000 miles in 7 years.
renovation-the car was stripped back to the bare shell and resprayed.the following new parts were fitted-2 front wings, drivers door, back passenger wheel arch, electric ariel, leather gear stick gator, new battery 2 months ago,car and parts wax oiled, bumper backings and front light mechanisms sanded treated with cu-rust and sprayed with hammerite primer and black paint.radiator cleaned and resprayed with hammerite.new moulding/spoiler/skirt brackets made in a heavier gauge metal at a local engineering firm and sprayed with hammerite primer and paint.all bolts and nuts have been refitted with grease to protect the threads and heads have been painted the appropriate colour.there is no masking lines or offspray anywhere.
Now the bad bits.the car sat outside for the last 3 years during my house renovation and there is about 2 inches of rust started on the drivers wheel arch where it meets the side skirt and there is 2 small tears on the drivers chair arm rest.i have never seen one of these leather chairs with out a tear.apart from that the car is excellent.i am trying to be as honest as possible and not trying to pull the wool over anybodys eyes.
I live in dumfries which is 30 minutes from carlisle,1.5hrs from glasgow, newcastle and edinburgh.if you are interested you can email me paul@emmac2003.fsnet.co.uk and i will get back in touch or call me on 07795107201.i am asking £2500 o.v.n.o
thanks for looking paul.
