Hi
Have recently picked up my 5th Mk1 (a silver T-bar off fleabay) and am very pleased with it so far - new HG, thermostat and now need a decent headunit - oh and some nice alloys to replace the dseased ones on at the mo.
Just wanted to say hello :wave:
Have been through what seems like LOADS of other cars since my last Mk1 (an 88 Mica Blue SC) which I should have never sold :cry:
205 1.9 GTI - nearly killed me
Mk2 Golf 16GTI - very nice
MK2 Mr2 rev 1 turbo - very fast, very scary :lol:
Alfa GTV V6 - lazy power with a wonderful noise too
Fiat coupe 20VT - silly quick - silly MPG :shifty:
BUT no car feels like a Mk1 - so after being something of a car prostitute :o I finally have come back to Mk1s again.
Never to be sold (well would swap for a super edition ;) )
Have already met up by chance with Bill and Stuart from the NW club (my car is in latest pic) and intend to go again on an occassional basis but will be on here often.
