another newbie

Hello everyone, my name is dave and this week i bought the wife a blue g reg mk1. Cost me £800 with no tax and 4 months mot.
It has slight rust on the rear arches which have just started to bubble the paint work but have not come through yet.

Ive lots of questions which i will post in the relevant sections.

What i will say about this car is fast, very fast, last night went past one of those mobile camera vans hiding in the bushes. Went through a 50 at 60. Didnt even realise i was doing 60 to be honest

the mk1 was is sometimes termed the pocket rocket as you do get carried away with the speed.
perhaps use a sat nav that beeps at you when you go too fast - i got a few too may points in mine!
