I thought i would give first grabs to the club members before (If) e-bay has the joys.

Engine from 87 D mk1B

Items taken off so far are

Inlet maniforld
full wiring loom
Ecu
water pump (as new about 100miles)
tvis system
camshaft pulleys
alternator pulley
crank pulley (slight damage to flange)


still to come

exhaust manifold
sump etc

i havent decided on any buy now prices or exact postage if required.

Make me offers your prepared to make and will consider seriously.

have to make some space so sooner the better.

I'd be interested in the sump if it's in good nick, mine needs replaced and I'm having trouble sourcing one!

Sump pan (provisionally held for member)
clutch pressure plate and friction plate - good condition.
Flywheel- no scoring as such.
oil strainer
Exhaust manifold. Looks good.

Still to go

Cylinder head
Camshafts


I found the cause of engine failure - conrods x2 bearing shells failure.
